Farm Fresh Rhode Island is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2004 that is growing a local food system. Farm Fresh RI offers a wide array of access, education, and distribution programs aimed at building healthier communities, increasing access to fresh food, strengthening community-based businesses, and improving the impact of food production and distribution on our environment. Farm Fresh moved into their purpose-designed 60,000 sq. ft. building in the valley neighborhood of Providence in late 2020. In addition to Farm Fresh programs, space is leased out to other food and agriculture related businesses and can be rented for private and public events. Snookers, one of Rhode Island's best-known sports bars, was founded in 1989 by Stephen and Regina Goulding in Providence's Jewelry District. The billiards hall, sports bar and grill has since moved to Ashburton Street, conveniently located near Downtown Providence.The original Snookers on Clifford Street featured a pool hall with 20 tables, a game room and a snack bar serving concession-style snacks and soft drinks. After five successful years and the addition of a liquor license, the game room became "The Green Room," a popular hot spot that hosted up-and-coming bands and DJs alongside well-known acts. Gather is a dynamic, multi-faceted studio of creators who make memorable glassblowing experiences accessible to anyone. We design and produce glass art that tell stories based on universal themes of life’s richness, nature & wildlife, and our larger cosmos. We offer a variety of classes and long term mentoring for beginner glass blowers. We provide start to finish custom design and production of a range of products including volume manufacturing of high end/boutique glass items such as: birth stone & animal totem drinking glasses, glass jewelry, nature inspired sculptures, ornaments, memorials, awards and one of a kind artwork. Our mobile studio allows us to produce unique live glass blowing experiences for gatherings, public and special events, parties and celebrations. Our products are sold on-line via our website and other web retailers, and at live events and our studio/event space gift shop.
